Does not fit any Plunger models, A7 A10 or singles.
When set up correctly, the clutch operation is usually a light two finger operation giving a nice feel, positive action allowing easy selection of neutral at a standstill without any drag or crunch !
Our clutch differs from the usual ones available on the market, we carefully select the best quality parts available and combine with our own exclusively made special items, these are the centre adaptor with supporting thrust washer and most importantly our needle roller lift outer pressure plate kit.
The clutch centre adaptor has a large thrust washer that supports the chainwheel to prevent it from “wobbling” when the clutch is pulled in, this reduces clutch drag significantly.
The needle roller lift clutch pressure plate when the clutch lever is pulled in, makes the pressure plate lift off evenly from the clutch plates and spins straight and true, this gives a light positive feel to the clutch and again cuts down drag and means clutch springs do not have to be tensioned as much.
Also the steel plain plates have a special radius undercut at the corners where they slide over the centre drum, this also prevents the steel plates dragging and sticking to the centre drum.
All this combines to give you the best 4 spring replacement clutch available on the market.
Please note that we check and inspect each clutch component and hand assemble the clutch to check that all parts match to give you a quality item that will work correctly and fit without any hassles. This means a usual two day delay before despatch of any clutch assembly.
