Belt drive kit for T140 Triumph, kit comprises of alloy chainweel, drive belt that can be run dry or wet, and a steel front pulley with guide plate. NO CLUTCH PLATES ARE INCLUDED.
A few pounds lighter than the standard components, compatible with all the other standard parts required to make up a complete clutch ie centre cush drive, and centre hub with rollers, and standard steel clutch pates, can be used with our superb needle roller bearing lift alloy clutch pressure plate kit, part number SRMPP1.
If this kit is to be run dry and the crankcase breather holes have been blocked up , we reccommend using a special silicone type grease for the clutch rollers and thrust back washer to help keep them lubricated, and periodically regrease every couple of thousand miles.
If the kit is run as standard set up with the breather comming through from the crankcase, then just use the same oil that you use in the engine, in the clutch side.
